Fan Club Barça Polska was officially registered as an association on 12 September 2005, although work on its creation had begun around a year earlier. Until then, the various projects aimed at establishing an official FC Barcelona supporters' club in Poland had developed rather slowly.
Together with a group of supporters who, since the Gran Derbi played in April 2004, had been meeting at the “eNka” pub in Olsztyn to watch Spanish league matches, we decided to make the dream of many Polish Barça fans come true — to establish an official FC Barcelona Penya in Poland.
After several months of waiting, it finally happened. On 14 July 2006, during a meeting of the FC Barcelona Board of Directors, our association was officially registered as a Penya. We were assigned number 1782.
The main objectives of Fan Club Barça Polska are to promote FC Barcelona, bring its supporters together, spread knowledge about the city of Barcelona and the region of Catalonia, and support people and organisations pursuing similar goals. Within the fan club, meetings, talks, exhibitions and trips to matches will be organised. In addition, a magazine for supporters of FC Barcelona will be published.
We will also prepare fan-club merchandise, including shirts, caps, patches, mugs, stickers and other items.
